Josie - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Shalimar, Florida

Josie is an incredibly gorgeous, sweet, happy girlie. She is approximately five months old and sitting at about 40 pounds.

She is currently working on leash + collar manners and kennel training, but we’ve been told she’s completely housebroken. She hasn’t had any accidents since she’s been in rescue. With new territory, that could change briefly.

She does get along with other dogs, but introduction is key — NOT due to aggressiveness BUT her being nervous around them initially. She does warm up quickly.

Josie will be a large dog when full grown. While she’s a Bully mix, we believe there may be some larger breed such as Dane in there. She’s tall for a bully.

She gets along well with kiddos, too.
