Meet Nala: Professional Splooter, Blanket Enthusiast, and All-Around Happy Girl!

Nala is an adorable nugget with a huge heart, a goofy personality, and an enthusiasm for life that is wonderfully contagious. Her foster describes her as having one of the purest hearts around. Nala is unapologetically herself at all times, and frankly, she wouldn't know how to be anything else!

This sweet girl is playful, affectionate, enthusiastic, and just a little bit clumsy. Personal space is still a concept she's studying, kisses are best delivered generously, and when Nala has an opinion, she'll share it through the most adorable little grumbles and conversational noises.

Nala LOVES getting out and about. Walks are a particular favorite, and she'll happily attempt to put on anyone's harness if she thinks it'll get her out the door faster. She's also a fantastic car traveler who enjoys hiking, exploring local shops, sniffing new places, playing tug, chasing toys, and finding excellent sticks. After the day's activities, she's ready to sploot, soak up some sunshine, or disappear into the nearest pile of blankets for a well-earned snooze.

Nala is a social butterfly with other dogs and hasn't met one she doesn't like. She has a rough-and-tumble, vocal play style and would enjoy a well-matched canine friend who can appreciate her enthusiasm. Because Nala takes a lot of cues from the dogs around her, a confident, well-behaved companion would be a wonderful role model.

She's also done well with kids over 7 and generally enjoys meeting new people, though she can sometimes be a little unsure at first and appreciate a moment to warm up. Once she's comfortable, her friendly, enthusiastic personality shines through, and sometimes comes with a little more enthusiasm during greetings than she knows what to do with!

Nala is estimated to have been born in December 2022 and weighs 70lbs. She is a pit bull type dog who is looking for a family who appreciates a dog with a giant heart, a playful spirit, and plenty of personality! Give her adventures, blankets, a good game of tug, and someone to love, and Nala will happily devote her whole goofy, enthusiastic self to being your very best friend!

Medical notes: Nala is an allergy dog. She is on Ultamino prescription food and cytopoint.

Nala's adoption fee is $450. She is neutered/spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.
