Hi, I'm Boone, a sweet and energetic German Shepherd X, who is a bundle of joy looking for my forever home! Surrendered by my previous owner to Lancaster Shelter, I have already shown my love for people and children, having lived with kids aged 5 and 11.

I may be a bit shy at first, but with patience and love, I will blossom into a playful and affectionate companion. I am crate trained and do well on walks, showing off my excellent leash manners. I'm food and praise motivated—being pet and told 'good boy' will make my tail wag! I would benefit from an active home that can continue my training and provide me with the structure I need. I'm not house trained yet, so a patient family willing to work with me will be ideal.

I need a home where I won't be left alone all day and can burn off my puppy energy in a big, safe area. I'm better with female, submissive dogs and, unfortunately, have a tendency to chase cats and chickens, so a pet-free or careful introduction home would be best. I also loves splashing around in a kiddie pool, adding an extra layer of fun to my playful personality.

If you're looking for a loyal and loving puppy who will grow into a wonderful companion with the right care and training, I'm your guy. Please fill out an online application to come meet me and give sweet me the home I deserve!

*Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving him the chance for a better life.
