I always knew it would be hard for a dog like me to be noticed. Im a black dog. Im a pit bull. So many people walk right past dogs that look like me.

But then something wonderful happened... a family chose me.

I tried so hard to be everything they needed. I was a good boy. I loved their children. I got along with other dogs. I thought I had finally found my forever.

Then allergies changed everything &
they brought me back.

The moment those kennel doors closed behind me again, my heart broke all over. I wasnt a bad dog. I didnt do anything wrong. I just lost my new family because of something I couldnt control.

Now Im back where I started... standing in line with so many other wonderful dogs, all hoping someone will see us before its too late.

Today was one of the saddest days Ive ever known. Dogs who arrived here around the same time I did took their last breath. They wanted what I want—to be loved, to belong, to grow old with a family. Now theyll never get that chance.

I cant stop thinking... Will I be next?

Will someone come for me... or will I be the one walking down that hallway, never to come back?

Im scared, but somehow, my heart is still holding on to hope. I still believe that maybe this post will find the person who was meant to find me. Maybe youre reading these words right now.

If you choose me, I promise Ill love you with everything I have. Ill be your loyal companion, your best friend. Ill love your family with my whole heart, just like I did before.

Please dont let my story end here.

Please dont let me become another dog whose only wish was to be loved.
