Poppy came to us from a county shelter with two broken legs and one precious puppy by her side. Despite everything shed been through, her tail never stopped wagging. One of her fractures was repaired, while the other healed on its own because surgery would've been too risky.
These days, Poppy usually gets around on three legs... but every now and then shell start hopping before realizing, Oh yeah! and use her healed leg. Its one of the funniest, sweetest things about her and perfectly sums up her happy-go-lucky personality.
Shell never be your hiking buddy, but she will be your shadow, your couch companion, and your very best friend. She just wants to be wherever her people are.
