Tow Mater - Pit Bull Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Rock Hill, South Carolina
TOW MATER
Pit Bull Terrier, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Rock Hill, South Carolina
July 3rd
male, large, baby
DESCRIPTION
Meet Tow Mater! Just like his famous truck namesake, he might be small right now, but he is built for loyalty, love, and plenty of fun. He is a 10-week-old Pit Bull mix, weighing in at a perfectly scoopable 10 pounds. Mater had a small laceration to his right eye when he was brought into rescue; nothing a little tune up (antibiotic ointment) couldn't fix! This happy little guy comes from humble beginnings, but has found himself enjoying the finer things in life: playing with toys, exploring the yard, and then curling up into a tiny puppy ball right next to you for a long nap.
Mater is excelling at potty-training (no accidents!), and learning his crate routine. He is being fostered in a home with two other dogs, and is learning social cues. With his playful, curious nature, he has all the makings of a loyal, goofy sidekick!
Could you be Mater's forever garage?

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
