Raven - Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption
RAVEN
Pit Bull Terrier, Labrador Retriever
October 5th
female, medium, baby
DESCRIPTION
Once Blair, now Raven, is being returned to rescue — and we need to find the RIGHT fit for this sweet, energetic girl. She is 5 months and close to 45 pounds.
Raven is 100% potty trained and such a funny girl. She actually doesn’t bark when she needs to go outside — instead, she paces and becomes extra clingy until you get the hint. Her family has only heard her bark a couple of times, including once at the Amazon guy and once when she spotted a BEAR... she barked and then RAN!
But Raven is also a young, active girl with energy to burn, and that is something her next family needs to be prepared for.
Because of her energy level, we do not feel it is fair for Raven to spend an entire workday crated. She needs a home that can give her the activity, stimulation and companionship she thrives on.
Her ideal family could be someone who:
Works remotely or has a hybrid schedule
Can arrange for a dog walker during longer workdays
Is open to doggy daycare for exercise and socialization
Has another compatible, playful dog who can help Raven burn off some of that energy
Enjoys walks, adventures, playtime and having an active companion
This doesn’t mean someone has to be home with Raven 24/7. She just needs a lifestyle that matches HER lifestyle.
Raven deserves a home where she can thrive rather than simply fit into a schedule that isn’t right for her.
Sometimes a return isn’t about a “bad dog.” Sometimes it’s about recognizing that a dog’s needs and a family’s lifestyle aren’t the right match — and making the responsible decision to find one that is. If you are interested please apply online at www.jkrcrescue.com.
