DESCRIPTION

Meet Quinnie! 🐾

Quinnie was born in December 2025 and is currently living in foster care. She is up-to-date on vaccines and is a sweet, lovable, playful puppy with a gentle and trusting nature. She’s friendly, fun, and full of puppy joy.

Quinnie is still very much all puppy. She is teething, which means she will chew, and like most puppies, she is still learning what is and isn’t okay. She is working on boundaries and potty training, but she still has accidents. She sleeps in a crate at night, and during the day she is socialized with other shelter animals.

She loves dogs of all sizes, both male and female, and enjoys playdates with her shelter friends. She would do especially well with a dog who can handle her puppy energy and enjoy playful interactions. She has also been around cats. Quinnie is still learning that chasing them is not okay, so she will need continued guidance and safe boundaries as she grows.

Quinnie has been around children, but because she is teething and still learning her boundaries, she will need to be in an environment where children are supervised and she is not allowed to practice her teething on them.

Quinnie walks beautifully on a leash and will thrive in a home that is patient, kind, and committed to helping her continue to learn. She will need positive reinforcement training, patience, and a family that is truly ready for puppy life. Because she is expected to be a larger dog, and appears to be a pitty mix, possibly with boxer, she will need a 6-foot privacy fence.

Like any puppy, Quinnie will need a safe environment. She thinks almost everything is fair game to chew or swallow, so her new family will need to keep harmful items out of reach.

Because puppies require time, training, and consistency, we do not adopt puppies into homes where they will be left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time.

Quinnie deserves a wonderful home with people who will love her, guide her, and help her grow into the amazing dog she is meant to be.

Quinnie is not spayed yet. Applications may be submitted now, but they will not be reviewed until she is spayed and ready to go home. Once she is ready, we will begin setting up meets with her foster.
