Xena - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania
XENA

female, medium, senior
DESCRIPTION
This beautiful lady is Xena! She is a senior pup who ended up at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for her furever home. She was rather nervous when she first came in, and it took some time for her to develop trust. She can still be timid with new people, but she is very sweet once she knows she is safe. We may not know anything about Xena's past, but we are hopeful for a bright future. Xena is open to possibly living with other animals with proper introductions. Since she can be fearful of strangers, it would be best that any children in the home are 13 and older who will respect her boundaries and be patient with her. Xena just wants to find a comfortable, quiet, and happy home where she can have companionship and live out her golden years in peace.
If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared - bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open 11-5 pm.
