MEET APOLLO: THE ULTIMATE SURVIVOR LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME

If you are looking for a story of incredible resilience, unwavering sweetness, and pure love, look no further than Apollo.

When we first met Apollo, he almost didn’t survive. He came to us suffering from severe starvation and heartbreaking neglect. But this approx. 5-year-old pitbull mix is a true warrior—he has fought his way back, recovered like an absolute champ, and has already gained a healthy 18 pounds! Despite the unthinkable cruelty he endured, Apollo’s spirit was never broken. In fact, he is easily the most loving, happiest, and sweetest dog you will ever meet. Here is why you’ll fall head over heels for him:

The Ultimate Snuggle Bug: Apollo loves to cuddle! He’s a giant lap dog at heart who wants nothing more than to be near his human.

Kid & People Approved: He absolutely adores people of all ages, including children!

Cat Friendly: He ignores cats and genuinely doesn’t mind sharing his space with feline friends.

Making Huge Strides: He is making amazing progress with potty training (as long as he’s kept on a regular routine, he has zero accident!) and is mastering crate training like a pro.

What Apollo Needs in a Home:

Because of the emotional scars from his past, Apollo will need a patient, compassionate family who will see past his emotional scars and love him for the sweet boy he truly is. Additionally, Apollo prefers to be the only dog in the home right now. He is still fearful of other dogs, though with time, proper training and safe socialization, he may continue to build confidence.

Apollo has given humans a second chance—now he just needs someone to give him one. Whether you are ready to adopt or want to try a foster-to-adopt path, you will be giving this resilient boy the peaceful chapter he so deeply deserves. Ready to be Apollo’s hero? Complete a foster or adoption app today to help us take the next step in his journey to forever. Please share his story—his perfect home is out there.
