This gorgeous face may look familiar. This is Guinness. You may have seen our posts about him last year and at the beginning of this year. We were simultaneously fundraising for a major leg surgery that Guinness needed while also looking for a an adopter or foster home, as it would not be possible for him to safely recover at the shelter. We were, thankfully, successful on both fronts. For well over a year, Guinness has been in a home where he has been a cherished family member and we are very grateful for that. However, as it often does, life has dealt an unfair hand to this family and they are not able to keep Guinness.
Guinness is about 4 years old, neutered and current on vaccinations. He has lived with a cat who he had continued to try to befriend, despite no reciprocation from the cat. Guinness is friendly, although very excited toward other dogs comparable to his size. He no longer likes smaller dogs since being accosted by them a number of times.
