I was rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control, and while my past wasn't easy, you won't hear me dwelling on it. I'd rather tell you about my future... because I hope you're in it.

I'm the kind of dog who forms deep bonds. I don't hand my heart out to everyone, but when I choose you, it's forever. I'll follow you from room to room, curl up beside you after a long day, and remind you every single day what unconditional love looks like.

I'm calm, quiet, incredibly sweet, and happiest just being with my person. Give me a little time to settle in, and you'll discover my goofy smile, my love of treats, and the gentle soul everyone at the rescue has fallen for.

I'd do best in a home without cats, and another dog may be possible with the right introduction. Respectful kids are welcome—I appreciate a home that understands every dog deserves a little space sometimes.
