Luna - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Milan, Illinois

Luna is still here! We wanted to share some of the things that are really special about her.
She's the kind of dog who remembers her people. The moment she spots a familiar team member, her whole face lights up and she bounds over to greet them like she hasn't seen them in years. She loves to window watch, she loves tearing up a stuffie, and she has these beautiful eyes that stare up at you when she places her head in your lap. Luna truly craves connection, and we know her person is out there who is just as special as she is.
Luna is 4 years old, and after everything she's been through, she is finally ready for the easy part: being loved.
A little over a month ago, Luna needed surgery for a torn ACL. Our community rallied around her in an incredible way, and because of your generosity, Luna received the surgery she needed and has made a wonderful recovery. We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who helped give her that second chance.
Now there's just one thing missing: a home.
Luna is struggling with shelter life. The noise, activity, and constant changes are stressful for her, and we can see how badly she wants a place where she can exhale. A place where she knows the people around her are hers. A place where she can curl up beside someone, rest her head on their lap, and simply be a dog.
She loves people. She loves attention. She loves being included. And she would absolutely love to be somebody's spoiled baby.
