Finir - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Merrillville, Indiana

Finir is 7 -8 yrs of age, a stellar gentleman. He is a solid boy at 65 pounds because, well, he loves his snacks. Fin is fostered with other pets of all species and seems to be a good guy with everyone. He might be too much for some cats but that depends on the individual cat and what you allow or don't allow. He is not allowed to bother the cats in foster home and he understands the rules.
Fin is strong on a leash and we do walk him with a training collar to keep his sniffventures positive for everyone involved. He appears to be in good health for his age and is fully vetted now. Fin does have lyme disease which has been treated with 30 days of antibiotics. This was found on a routine test and he is not symptomatic. Fin takes benadryl occasionally when his paws start to get itchy from seasonal allergies.
If you are looking for a cool dude, a bit older and less baby dog like. . . Fin could be your guy!
