MISS DAISY IS OFFICIALLY LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME!
Well... look who went from walking around Mauston in the pouring rain with absolutely no apparent plan to officially becoming an adoptable lady.
Miss Daisy had her vet appointment today!
She got updated on her vaccines, had some bloodwork done, and we had the vet take a look at her skin issues we noticed when she came in. For now, we're going to be doing some medicated baths to get that skin feeling better.
And after everything we've learned about her...
DAISY IS OFFICIALLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!
And honestly, she's a pretty good girl.
Great with kids
Good with other dogs
Potty trained
Kennel trained
LOVES belly rubs... really loves belly rubs
Does not know what “sit” means, but can professionally FLOP.
Ask Daisy to sit?
Daisy: Best I can offer you is dramatically throwing my entire body onto the floor and requesting belly rubs.
She does occasionally piddle when she gets nervous, and we're working on building her confidence and helping her through that. Nobody's perfect, Daisy.
Daisy needs HER person. HER family. HER forever home.
She's already proven she's an excellent truck passenger, professional errand supervisor, kid-pickup assistant, and world-class magic fur outfit maker Seriously. You'll never be lonely because pieces of Daisy will be with you everywhere you go.
Her story started with us because a nice person noticed a dog walking around alone in the rain.
She didn't know where she was going.
We didn't know where she belonged.
But now we get to help write the next part:
The one where Daisy finally knows exactly where she belongs.
