Sunflower has a golden coat the color of her name, a white blaze between her warm brown eyes, and a white chest and legs. Her mouth falls open in the biggest smile, and it’s hard to look at that face without smiling right back.

Sunflower arrived at Cobb Animal Services as a stray on October 7, 2026. We don’t know where she came from or what her days looked like before she got here, but we know she is 2 years old and 54 pounds, with her whole adult life ahead of her. Whoever brings her home gets to write that next chapter from the very first page.

She is described as friendly and playful, as well as attentive and obedient. She sits, and she knows down. A dog who is paying attention to you and wants to get it right is a joy to share your days with, and Sunflower has so much more to learn and a lifetime to learn it.

Sunflower is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be spayed before she goes home. A kennel isn’t where a bright, happy girl like her belongs. She is ready to brighten someone’s home the way a sunflower brightens a garden. Come meet Sunflower in kennel 46.
