Want to play dress up? With Halloween right around the corner, Cesar would be the perfect dog for any holiday. He lived a life of dress up with his previous owners. He’s very bougie.

Cesar (DOB 8/9/23) is a black, male pitbull. He came from an urban home where he was accustomed to apartment life in the big city. Daily walks were his routine. Quiet in the kennel was the expectation. Needless to say, he is kennel, house, and leash trained. He knows commands heel, sit, down, and stay. He is a high energy dog, so he needs walks or an outlet for his energy. The shelter has been a high stress environment for Cesar. For that reason, volunteers have taken him home while he waits for his adopter. He has mingled with dogs, but, in the shelter, he seemed selective- preferring females over males. If he is going home to a pack, a meet and greet is required-standard practice.

Cesar will need an approved application before you can meet him since he is in foster.

Cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines before they leave The ARK.

The ARK does vet checks. To speed up the adoption process during open viewing hours, we encourage adopters to bring along copies of their vet records, which would include proof of spay-neuters, up-to-date on vaccines, and proof of heartworm testing and prevention for dogs.
