Riley - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Kittanning, Pennsylvania

Riley is a house-trained, energetic, Pit Bull Terrier mix. She completed a boarding and training program at Burk's Dog Training, and she will come with two free lessons to help her transition smoothly into her new home.
Riley takes supplements for an old knee injury, and she limps on occasion. This makes long walks and some obedience commands tough for her. Riley would do best in a home without cats or small dogs.

Riley is a medium energy dog. She's friendly with people, but she seems to prefer a quieter home for day-to-day life. She's fine with new people coming into the house and likes small gatherings, but she prefers to hang back away from big gatherings. She's super smart and catches on very fast to training. Because of that, she also likes to see what kind of loopholes she can find in her training. A kind, yet firm handler that can help her stay on track is ideal. Riley is crate trained and stays in one when no one is home. She doesn't even attempt to jump our 4' fence here at the house. Riley's ideal home would be somewhere where she can snuggle up on the couch to watch your favorite show for the rest of the evening!
