Taylor-Foster Needed-Ridge Dog Training Graduate - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Kirkland, Washington

Meet Taylor!

Taylor is about a year old and has already faced more than his share of hard luck in his first year... One of our volunteers spotted him while driving to the kennel and at first, she thought the brown shape in the road was a wild animal, but it was a puppy, belly crawling across the two-lane highway. Taylor was malnourished and ready to be rescued. Before the volunteer could even step out of her van, Taylor jumped right in, as if he knew he was finally safe.

Since that time Taylor has been showing us his sweet (and still a bit puppy-ish) personality. He graduated from the Ridge Dog Training Program where he worked to build the skills, confidence, and good manners to thrive in a forever home. Taylor worked on better leash manners, improving his response to basic cues, and got the chance to learn behaviors that make everyday life with a family more successful. He even learned a few cute tricks!

Taylor is a young and active dog. He would do well with space to run and play and an active family so he can join in all the fun. Taylor can be selective when meeting other dogs so proper introductions are important.

If you can give this brave little survivor a safe place to rest and a home to call his own, l, please fill out a foster application today at RedWagginRescue.org.

The sooner he's in a loving home, the sooner his hard days will be behind him.
