Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Kent, Washington

Hi! My name is Apple and I am available for adoption! I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 04/10/2026. They said I was very friendly while in their care! I hopped right in their car and even coexisted with their cat! I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend! I am a 1 year old dog! So basically still a puppy! This means I have lots of energy! I love to play outside, to go on long walks, chase balls and just explore the world! Things like kongs, lick matts, bones and puzzles will be very heplful for my young mind! I am also very food motivated! This will help me when learning new skills! I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to [sit, stay, come, down and shake.] I want to be the best boy I possibly can be for you! This means consistent training and reinforcing food behaviors. Ontop of my excitement I am also very affectionate! I love to get scratches all over and would love the cuddle up with you in your home! I may need some time to decomoress but once I feel comfortable I know I will settle down quickly. Sometimes I am a bit independent! This is good! It means I can usually keep myself occupied! Regardless if that is outside or in your home with a toy. I weigh 42 lbs and am considered a medium breed dog. Something to note about me is I dont want another dog in the home. I am what is called dog reactive. This is a very common occurance to those in the animal world or those who have owned animals before! It just means I am more of a 'person dog' than a 'dogs dog'.
