Bulma - Pit Bull Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Kansas City, Missouri

Bulma ia a petite pittie mix at only 37lbs - although she could do with putting on a few pounds. Consider it a bonus - that means you don't have to worry about "spoiling" her with treats while training. Spoil away! Bulma says that if you need someone to listen, she's all ears. At only about 1 year old, this girl has plenty of years to be your BFF (best fur friend).

In dog play groups, she has been selective about her playmates and like to play rowdy. Like all our adult dogs, Bulma will need to meet future canine companions before going home. Our shelter staff will lead their introductions in a safe environment to see if they are compatible. At the main campus, you can bring your dog along when you come for adoptions if you like.

Bulma was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and here is what they had to say, "She was such a treat! We went on a hike. On the way there, she did such a good job in the car and rested peacefully. She took some interest in sticks, and in the creek. After our hike we snoozed in the backseat of my car. She was such a cuddle bug but really polite about it! She would lean on me but didn't get on my lap without invitation. Her sweet snoring and doggy smile made for a really nice afternoon nap. I have no doubt that with some love and consistency she'll be such a good companion and friend to whoever is lucky enough to know her! She is eager to please and so so sweet!"

Bulma is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for a loving forever home!

Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived. ...
