Penelope - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Kamloops, British Columbia

Penelope is a delightful 4-and-a-half-month-old Pitbull mix, she is a loveable goofball with a big heart, and a serious love for people!

Pitbulls are known for their loyal hearts and expressive personalities, and Penelope is no exception. Penelope is a bright, energetic, fun-loving gal who likes to live life at full speed! She's playful, affectionate, and absolutely loves being around her people. Penelope would do best with someone who can appreciate her goofy spirit, laugh at her antics, and support her soft-side as he settles into her furrever home!

Penelope is at the age where training and routine are critical, so she needs the consistency, patience and love of her new guardian to show her the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must - leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training.

Penelope won't be a puppy forever, and as she grows, there are a few things to keep in mind about her breed. Pitties can be incredibly energetic, especially at her age. Penelope will likely grow into a large, strong dog with high exercise needs; prospective adopters should be prepared to meet the high energy requirements of her breed and support her adolescence with abundant socialization and training.

Penelope would thrive with plenty of walks, space to play, attention, outdoor time, and other forms of mental and physical stimulation. Penelope is truly the embodiment of pure puppy energy who would love for her people to be as passionate about life as she is!
