DESCRIPTION
Mae is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. When she first arrived, the world felt a little overwhelming, and she approached new things cautiously. Since then, she has shown everyone that beneath that timid exterior is a gentle, affectionate girl who wants very much to connect. She greets people with soft wags, enjoys taking things at her own pace, and has a sweet, sensitive nature that makes every bit of trust she offers feel special.
One volunteer recently spent time with Mae and watched her transform from a nervous pup into a playful companion. Away from the hustle and bustle, she relaxed enough to enjoy squeaky toys, share them happily, and soak up affection. She walks beautifully on leash, stays focused on her person, and doesn't worry about the dogs she passes along the way. Mae feels like a dog who will truly blossom in a home where she can settle in, feel safe, and discover that life is full of good things. For someone willing to give her a little patience, the reward will be a loyal friend with a tender heart and a wonderfully gentle soul.
All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter's care.
