Shirley - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Greensboro, North Carolina

Shirley is a 10-month-old puppy who came to us after her owner could no longer afford her care. She recently moved into foster care, where she's getting to show off her sweet, goofy personality while she waits for a home of her own.

Shirley loves playing with both cats and dogs in her foster home, and she's incredibly gentle when interacting with them. She can be a little timid at times and is still building her confidence, but she's making progress in a comfortable environment where she can take things at her own pace.

Shirley is house trained and crate trained, and she's comfortable having her ears and nails handled without putting up a fuss. When playtime is over, she's more than happy to sleep, cuddle and enjoy some quiet time with her people.

Shirley is a sweet, goofy young dog who has already made a great start in foster care. She's ready for a family who will continue helping her build confidence while giving her plenty of affection, playtime and cozy places to nap. With her gentle nature and growing list of good house-dog skills, she'll have a smooth transition into her new home.
