Meet Jessie - a gentle, brave young pup who is learning that the world is a safe and loving place.

At around 9 months old and 19 pounds, Jessie is a petite girl with a calm, sweet nature and so much potential. She was very scared when she first arrived at the shelter, but she has made wonderful progress and continues to grow more confident every day.

Jessie is crate trained and does beautifully in her crate-she is calm, quiet, and keeps her space clean with no accidents. She has also learned to walk on leash and now does very well, enjoying her time outside and gaining confidence with each outing.

In the home, Jessie is a lovely companion. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing, but she is not overly energetic or wild. She has a nice, balanced energy and settles in easily.

Jessie rides well in the car, though she may need a little help getting in. She is still timid and will need a patient, understanding home that can continue building her confidence at her own pace. With consistency and encouragement, she continues to make steady progress.

She is not only incredibly adorable in looks, but her personality is just as endearing-soft, sweet, and quietly loving.

Jessie is looking for a home that will give her the time and support she needs to fully blossom. In return, she will offer a deep, loyal bond and the joy of watching her confidence grow every day.

Jessie would likely benefit from a confident canine in her future home. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.
