Hi there! My name is Arthur and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus.

I'm the total package...if I do say so myself. I'm the kind of dog who's just happy to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether we're heading out for a walk, relaxing at home, or playing in the backyard, I'm all in.

I've got pretty good manners, too! I walk nicely on a leash, know how to behave in the house, and I do my best to listen when my people ask me to do something. I'm still learning, of course, but I'm a smart guy who catches on quickly.

I absolutely LOVE other dogs, and playtime is one of my favorite parts of the day. If I have a canine friend to romp around with, I'm one happy pup. And when I'm feeling extra excited, you'll probably catch me tearing around the yard with the zoomies before entertaining myself with a game of fetch. That's right-I can even toss the ball around on my own if nobody's available! I also LOVE water- especially if it's coming from a hose.

If you're searching for a loyal best friend with great manners, a playful spirit, and a big heart, I think we should meet. I have a feeling we're going to make a pretty great team.

Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed.

Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
