Hi, I'm Obsidian! I know that sounds like the name of a very distinguished, serious gentleman. And while I am handsome and sophisticated, I should probably warn you: I am also a complete goofball.
Everything is exciting when you're me! People? LOVE THEM! Grass? AMAZING! Toys? THE BEST THING EVER INVENTED! Life in general? LET'S GO!!! I'm a boisterous ball of energy, enthusiasm, and solid muscle, and I'm just waiting for someone who can appreciate all the goofy joy I have to give.
I know black dogs sometimes get overlooked at the shelter, but please don't let a stereotype keep you from meeting me. I'm so much more than my beautiful black coat. I'm a big-hearted, happy boy who wants a chance to show you just how wonderful I can be. I deserve a family who will see me-the silly, affectionate, playful pup underneath it all.
And speaking of my coat... my skin is having a little bit of a funky moment right now. Nothing a little TLC can't help! With some special shampoo, the right diet, and a loving home, I'll be shining like the handsome hunk of obsidian I was named after.
