Kesha Kisses is truly the life of every party! With her adorable freckled nose, nonstop happiness, and wonderfully goofy personality, she brings fun everywhere she goes. She is the kind of girl who celebrates you walking into the room like you just won an award, happily becoming your personal cheerleader and hype dog. Life with Kesha will be filled with backyard zoomies, spontaneous adventures, plenty of laughter, and a happy little shadow who thinks everything is more exciting simply because she gets to do it with you.

Kesha is approximately 2 years old and currently weighs around 37 pounds. We believe she may be a Pittie/Lab mix, but with animal rescue, breed and age are always a mystery and our best guesses. Don’t let her pictures fool you because she is much more petite in person!
Kesha absolutely loves people. She is social, affectionate, entertaining, and always ready to make a new friend. Her love is big, her happiness is contagious, and she has a way of making an ordinary day feel like the best day ever. She has spent time around younger children approximately 8 years old, but because she approaches life with so much enthusiasm, we believe she would be happiest with older kids who will appreciate her playful spirit. We can already picture her racing around the backyard with them, chasing toys, joining their games, and flopping down in the grass beside them.
Kesha is also dog friendly and has done wonderfully with every dog we have introduced her to. She loves having a canine playmate and happily joins in a game of chase or a good wrestling match. If your dog has been asking for a best friend, Kesha is definitely ready to apply for the position. Just be prepared to have two peas in a pod who may happily play all day until you step in and declare it nap time! A little structure and a few scheduled breaks will help everyone settle, recharge, and get ready for the next round of fun. She can also live with a dog who is not quite as playful. Kesha may invite them to join her at first, but she does learn when another dog is not interested and can take the hint. If you do not have another dog, she will be just as happy soaking up all the love as your one and only. She would make such a fun companion for someone looking for a happy girl to bring along on outings, road trips, hikes, or whatever adventure comes next.
Kesha loves treats and is incredibly smart. She already knows how to sit and will be so much fun to continue training because she is eager, engaged, and highly motivated by snacks. She also loves toys and will happily browse through the toy basket, select exactly what she wants, and entertain herself. Watching her make her very important toy choice is just one more piece of her personality that will keep you smiling.
Kesha is crate trained and, from what we have seen, is generally comfortable relaxing in her crate. So far, she also seems to understand where the appropriate potty places are. As she adjusts to a new home and routine, she will benefit from the same consistency and patience that any rescue dog deserves.
Although Kesha is always ready for fun, she does settle nicely when she has received enough exercise, attention, and structure. She would thrive with a semi-active family in a home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs, play with toys or a dog sibling, soak up the sunshine, and patrol the fence line for her greatest backyard obsession: lizards. This little lady takes lizard hunting very seriously!
Kesha also loves exploring, rides nicely in the car, and has all the potential to become an incredible adventure buddy. A house with a backyard would be her dream, but she may also do well in an apartment with a family committed to giving her plenty of daily exercise and enrichment. Kesha Kisses is sweet, affectionate, smart, social, and happy as can be. Her fun and derpy nature will keep you laughing, her enthusiasm will brighten even the most ordinary days, and her big heart will make sure you always feel loved. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!
Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!
The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
