DESCRIPTION

We're not saying Jubilee Jamboree is perfect... but we're having a hard time figuring out what we'd change about her.

She's one of those dogs that just makes life more fun. The kind that happily tags along for whatever the day brings, makes friends everywhere she goes, and somehow has just the right amount of energy. She's playful without bouncing off the walls, affectionate without being clingy, and social without demanding to be the center of attention every second. Add in those gorgeous light-colored eyes, the cutest freckles you've ever seen, and a personality that's every bit as beautiful as she is, and it's pretty easy to understand why everyone who meets her walks away talking about what a great dog she is.

Watch Jubilee's video and prepare to add another dog to your ""I wish I could adopt them all"" list: https://youtu.be/sEQ9evPXYes?si=zM5kN7hl7PzNKYN8

Jubilee is believed to be approximately 1-2 years old and currently weighs about 45 pounds. As with any rescue dog, her exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is she's a Pittie mix with maybe a little Pointer or Cattle Dog mixed in there too. Those adorable freckles definitely have us wondering. Whatever her DNA says, though, they absolutely got this one right.

Jubilee has the kind of personality that fits effortlessly into everyday life. Want to go for a walk? She's in. Spend the afternoon tossing a ball around the backyard? Sounds like a great day to her. Head out on a weekend adventure? She'll happily ride shotgun. Ready to relax on the couch afterward? She's just as happy doing that too. She has that wonderfully balanced personality that's energetic enough to keep life fun but calm enough that you don't feel like you're constantly trying to wear her out.

She's also incredibly people-oriented. Jubilee genuinely enjoys being around her humans and has such a sweet, easygoing way about her. One of our favorite little things she does is sit in front of you before you even ask. Instead of launching herself at people when she's excited, she'll often plant her little booty right at your feet like she's saying, ""Okay... I'm ready whenever you are."" It's equal parts adorable and impressive.

Training should be a lot of fun with this girl because she absolutely loves treats and is eager to please. She already knows ""sit,"" has great engagement with her people, and from everything we've seen so far, she's the kind of dog that wants to work with you. If there's a snack involved, she'll happily volunteer for just about any lesson you'd like to teach.

Jubilee has also done wonderfully meeting other dogs. She's friendly and confident without being pushy, happily greeting new dogs before either inviting them to play or wandering off to do her own thing. When another dog is interested in playing, she loves a nice balance of playing chase followed by some equally matched wrestling. Because of her play style, we think she'd do especially well with a playful male dog that enjoys that same give-and-take style of play. That said, she also doesn't seem like a dog who needs another canine companion to be happy. She's so people-focused that we think she'd thrive as you're one-and-only, soaking up all the love and attention herself.

She also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know!

From what we have seen so far, Jubilee seems to be both potty trained and crate trained. She keeps her kennel clean, settles in nicely, and from everything we've seen, has been an easy dog to have around the house. We think she'd be happiest with a semi-active family that enjoys getting outside together. A backyard with a tall fence where she can run, stretch her legs, sniff every interesting smell, and burn off a few zoomies would certainly make her happy. That said, we also think she has the potential to do very well in an apartment as long as she's getting regular walks, exercise, and plenty of mental enrichment.

If you're looking for one of those dogs that just feels easy to love, Jubilee checks an awful lot of boxes. She's beautiful without even trying, smart, incredibly sweet, dog friendly, eager to learn, and has the kind of happy, well-balanced personality that fits into so many different lifestyles. Honestly... she's just a really, really good dog. And we have a feeling whoever gets to call her theirs is going to wonder how they ever lived without her.

We are willing to test Jubilee Jamboree with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
