Chase has one ear on lookout duty and the other taking the day off. Meanwhile, the rest of him is hoping you’ll sit down so he can crawl into your lap. This sweet black-and-white puppy has big plans for a life of being held, loved on, and included. He looks like a little Pittie/Lab mix, though his breed is our best guess. He may grow into a fairly big boy, but his commitment to lap-dog life is already well established.

Chase is the quieter observer, happy to take in what’s happening around him before joining the fun. And that one upright ear certainly seems determined to catch every detail. His sweetest quality, though, is how comfortably he settles into affection. Scoop him up, hold him close, or make a little room in your lap, and he seems perfectly content to stay awhile.
He is living in a foster home with other dogs and older kids, and he has been doing wonderful with both. Pair him with a young, playful dog, and you’ll see another side of Chase- a happy little playmate ready for some puppy fun. A canine friend who enjoys that youthful energy could be a lovely match for him, with breaks for everyone to rest and recharge.
Chase is also a great little car rider, making it easy to picture him tagging along for any outing you are inviting him to join. His foster home is giving him a wonderful start, with opportunities to experience family routines, spend time with other dogs, and practice being part of a household.
Of course, he is still a puppy with plenty of growing and learning ahead. His family will get to help him build on that foundation with patient guidance, positive reinforcement, and consistent routines for potty training, manners, and all the other little lessons of growing up.
There is so much to love in this sweet face- the mismatched ears, the soft expression, and a puppy who will happily climb into your lap and settle in.
Chase is ready for a family who sees him and thinks, “There’s our boy.”

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
