DESCRIPTION
Ivy is a 2-3 year old pit bull who was found wandering as a starving stray by a Good Samaritan who called the ACOs at the Franklin Township Animal Shelter to come and rescue her. When initially found, it was obvious that Ivy had been neglected as she was skin and bones. Despite all of that, Ivy showed that she still loved people. While under the shelter’s care, Ivy doubled her weight! She is now a happy and healthy dog who is in need of a loving forever home. Ivy is an awesome dog who has a happy, bubbly, and social personality. She is very strong, weighing 60+ pounds so a home with older kids is recommended. She may get along with another dog, but would need to meet them prior to adoption. No cats please. Ivy would be a wonderful companion, so please visit the shelter to meet her!
