A mouthful of a name, so we are just calling her Thea. who is quite possibly one of the sweetest dogs you ever did know.

Amalthea is still very much a puppy—just a girl looking for love, attention, a little structure, and someone to show her how good life can be. And right now, she's discovering it one first at a time.

Playmates. Sleeping in a cozy bed. Getting a bath. Walks. Pets. Kisses. Feeling safe. Being part of a family. ❤ï ̧

She is doing wonderfully with all of the dogs in her foster home, big and small, and she's learning more every day. She's working on leash walking, house manners and crate manners, and she's already about 90% housetrained. When she needs to go out, she heads to the back door—and dog-door mastery is coming soon!

She's still growing, and as for what exactly she is? Your guess is as good as ours. A little Pit Bull, a little Great Pyrenees, maybe some Beagle... a perfectly wonderful mutt.

What we do know is that Amalthea is incredibly sweet, eager to learn and soaking up every bit of this new life. She just needs a family willing to keep teaching her, loving her, and giving her the structure every puppy needs to become her very best self.
