Meet Bubba —Some people might look at Bubba and think being a black Pit Bull means he has two strikes against him. We think those are his two best features!

Bubba is a handsome black-and-white Pit Bull, just over 1 year old and weighing in at a solid 60 pounds of squishy love, goofy charm and pure personality. And while his pictures are handsome, they really don't capture what makes this guy so special.

Bubba is happy. Happy, happy, HAPPY! He has the kind of easygoing, cheerful personality that makes him an absolutely wonderful ambassador for the bully breeds. He has been around little dogs, big dogs and everything in between, and he has been nothing but congenial, playful and kind with every single one of them. He genuinely enjoys his canine friends and seems to think pretty much everyone he meets is a potential new buddy.

And humans? Yep. Bubba is a fan of those too. He is affectionate, friendly and loves being part of the family. He's even lived with pre-teen children and has done well.

And then there's Bubba's energy level...If you're looking for a dog to summit fourteeners, compete in the canine Olympics or train for the next Ironman, Bubba would like to respectfully decline.

This guy is much more “Where's the couch?” than “Where's the mountain?” He's perfectly content hanging out with his people, enjoying some companionship and being part of whatever is happening around the house. He's got enough energy to enjoy a walk and some playtime, but his overall temperament is wonderfully easygoing and laid-back.

Bubba is basically a 60-pound lovebug with a big smile, a soft heart and absolutely no interest in making life complicated.

If you've ever worried that a black Pit Bull might be overlooked, Bubba would like to make a very convincing argument that you're missing out. He's handsome, happy, social, affectionate and just an all-around great guy.
