One is the playful, handsome boy who loves to have fun, whose spirit shines when he feels safe and loved. The other is the dog who's trying his best to make it through another day at the shelter-a place that's simply too loud, too busy, and too overwhelming for a heart as gentle as his.

Briar wasn't meant to live behind kennel doors. He was meant to stretch out on a couch, chase toys across a backyard, greet his favorite people at the front door, and fall asleep knowing he's finally home.

Every day he waits is another day he doesn't get to be the dog he's meant to be.

He doesn't need a perfect family. He just needs someone willing to see past the shelter and recognize the incredible companion waiting underneath. Give Briar a little patience, a little kindness, and a place to belong, and you'll watch him blossom into the happy, playful dog he's always wanted to be.

His home is out there somewhere. Maybe it's been yours all along.

However, we do not know his actual genetic makeup. Just know that this dog is probably a variety of several different breeds that have combined to create one very amazing and unique animal.

Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. The Siberian Husky is a medium sized working dog breed known for its striking appearance and friendly demeanor. Originating from Siberia, these dogs are well adapted to cold climates and are recognizable for their distinctive wolf like appearance, including piercing almond shaped eyes and a thick double coat. Siberian Huskies are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and strong willed nature, making them best suited for active families and experienced dog owners who can provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
