Hawk - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in East Northport, New York

Meet Hawk! Hawk is a 7mo old Pitbull mix who came to our shelter after his owner could no longer take care of him. Hawk is a goofy, wiggly dog who enjoys playtime with his dog friends, chasing a ball (he hasn’t figured out that he has to bring it back yet!) and hanging with his favorite people at the shelter. Still very much in the learning stage, Hawk will need an experienced owner with the time and patience to clearly define his role in the pack in order to make him the best dog he can be. Hawk has passed his behavioral assessment with no food or toy guarding issues and continues to progress in his obedience. Hawk would do best in a home with children 16+. He will be neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped before leaving our shelter.
