Mellow is an athletic, playful, bright, and happy dog looking for her forever family. She could live with another dog that matches her energy. Mellow would do best with respectful children 10+. She would love to show you how much potential she has with some positive reinforcement.

Mellow is truly one of my favorite dogs at the shelter! Mellow is as pretty as they come, but she’s not just a beautiful face and gorgeous eyes, she’s got a big, lively personality to match! She’s an active, high-energy girl who loves getting out and doing things. Walks are a favorite, and she’s generally good on leash, though she can pull a bit when something excites her. It’s nothing over the top, just her being
eager and ready to go! She’s playful, fun, and seems to genuinely enjoy life. Mellow has done well with other dogs at the shelter, especially when she’s given a proper introduction and a little time to settle in with them. With the right setup, she could do well in a home with another dog! Because she can be a bit enthusiastic, she’d be a better fit for a home with older kids who are comfortable around an active dog and who can respect her boundaries. Mellow is the kind of dog who will keep you moving and make everyday things more fun. She’s sweet, full of life, and ready for a home that will meet her energy and give her some consistency. She would benefit greatly from a training program and structure!
