Skye is a 31⁄2-year-old spayed Pit Bull who is ready for a fresh start! She recently returned to WAIF due to changes in her home life that were completely out of her control, and she is hoping her next home will be her forever one.

Skye first came to WAIF in 2024 under protective custody after Animal Control and the Sheriff's Department found her abandoned with a group of similar dogs. Because of her past and the circumstances she came from, Skye is looking for a home where she can be the only pet and enjoy plenty of love, attention, and time with her people.

Skye knows how to sit, lie down, and shake, and she is one smart girl! She also has a little independent streak and can be wonderfully opinionated--Skye likes to do things at her own pace. Once she gets to know you, though, her personality really shines.
