DESCRIPTION
Meet Cash! This sweet big guy is full of love and whimsy. Cash is noted by his previous humans to be potty trained and a lover of children of all ages. Cash also used to live with another dog who he reportedly loved a lot, so could potentially enjoy canine companionship again with a proper slow introduction. Cash is a middle aged gentleman who is ready to enjoy the finer things in life (your couch, the occasional piece of cheese). He does need to go home with someone who wants to help him get moving and shaking just a little bit to help him have the healthiest retirement he can! Thinking about adding a friend to your family? This sweet guy is currently available for both adoption and foster and would love to meet you! Interested in fostering? Email foster@anticruelty.org to let the foster team know! If you would like to meet Cash and potentially adopt, stop by our Adoption Center at 510 N. LaSalle to meet them and all of their friends. We offer same-day adoptions, free parking, and our team will guide you through every step of the adoption or foster process. ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
