Benny - Pit Bull Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

This sweet puppy is neutered and fully healthy! Benny is up to date on vaccines. He is still receiving the core puppy vaccine series and will need additional vaccines after adoption to reach full immunization. He is also microchipped!

: Housebreaking - Working on it! With a strict schedule and routine, he will catch on in no time

: Crate Training - Working on it! He is just a puppy and needs some training and patience to help him get comfortable in his kennel.

: Leash walking - He is still new to leash walking, and would appreciate an adopter who can help him continue to work on this!

: Dog-friendly - Reportedly friendly!

: Cat-friendly - Not sure, he hasn't met cats with us yet! Slow intro required if adopted into a home with a cat.

Kid-friendly: Benny loves kids! He doesn't always understand his size, so would do best with older kids that can tolerate his goofiness

Benny is the silliest pup in town! He loves to run around and explore. He's fun and easy to distract with toys, not to mention he started sitting for treats!

OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense. A $150 refundable deposit will be collected at the time of adoption, and refunded upon receipt of proof of enrollment in a positive reinforcement training program.
