Ash is the kind of dog who makes you laugh without even trying. He's a certified level 10 cuddler-if you've got a 50-hug daily quota, he will happily exceed expectations. His big, soulful eyes are absolutely stunning, and somehow get even softer when you tell him "I love you"-his tail starts wagging faster like he truly understands. He's got a goofy, lovable charm, flopping dramatically into cuddle mode.

Ash has been settling into home life really well and continues to show what a good boy he is. He sleeps through the night in his room without issue (especially if there's a treat involved) and relaxes nicely with his own space during the day. He eats enthusiastically-okay, very enthusiastically-so he uses a slow feeder, and he's been gentle and respectful with treats and around other dogs during mealtimes. He hasn't shown any food or resource guarding. He does enjoy playtime and can get a bit rough with larger dogs, but he's also shown he can adjust his play style for smaller pups. Like many young dogs, he's still working on things like jumping and continuing to learn his manners, but he's responsive and eager.

Ash would thrive in a home that appreciates a dog with a big heart, playful energy, and lots of dramatic affection to give. He'd do great with someone who can continue guiding him with structure and love, and who doesn't mind a shadow that follows them around hoping for snuggles.
