DESCRIPTION
Petey's story is a bit of a sad mystery.
A good Samaritan found him on a county road in Nebraska all by himself. He has unknown wounds all over his nose, ears, head, neck and front legs. It looks like he may have gotten his head stuck somewhere it should not have been.
He spent weeks at a county shelter hoping someone would claim him, and sadly no one did.
But no worries Petey! You are in great hands now! He is settling into a foster home and loving it. No matter the activity his tail is always wagging. Meeting dogs, meeting cats, meeting new people, pouncing on a ball.. always a wagging tail and a happy smile.
Petey doesn't let his past define him. He is happy and a typically calm boy who enjoys belly rubs and chasing a ball.
Give Petey a chance! Apply to meet him today.
