At just 11⁄2 years old, Capris is a beautiful cream-colored Pit Bull/Siberian Husky mix with enough enthusiasm to make every day an adventure. This sweet girl absolutely adores people and thrives on human companionship. She isn't the type of dog who's content lounging on the couch all day—she's happiest when she's exploring the world alongside her favorite humans.
Capris is searching for a young, extremely active family that is committed to giving her the physical exercise and mental enrichment she needs to truly thrive. Whether it's daily runs, long hikes, weekend camping trips, or all of the above, Capris is ready to be your enthusiastic partner every step of the way. She isn't looking for someone who simply has a backyard—she's looking for someone who wants to experience life with her.
Because of her Husky heritage, previous Siberian Husky experience is required. Her adopters should understand the breed's intelligence, athleticism, and need for consistent exercise, structure, and engagement.
Capris does well with other dogs, but because every friendship is unique, a dog-to-dog meet and greet will be required for any potential canine siblings. She is not a good fit for a home with cats.
For her safety, Capris' forever home must have a 6-foot privacy fence where she can safely enjoy outdoor time between all of life's adventures.
Capris is up-to-date on all vaccines, microchipped, and current on preventative care. She will be available through our foster-to-adopt program until after her spay appointment, giving her future family the opportunity to begin bonding with her right away.
