Hi, I'm Cosmo!

I'm a 1.5-year-old girl looking for a fresh start after my family had to surrender me because of changes in their living situation. It wasn't because they didn't love methey just couldn't keep me anymore.

I'm a very sweet dog with a lot of love to give, but I won't pretend I'm perfect. I'm still working on some important life skills and will need a family that's willing to help me continue learning.

I'm not crate trained yet, and I'll need help with potty training. That means there may be accidents and there will definitely be a learning curve. But I'm still young, and with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, I know I can make progress.

The good news? I already have some wonderful qualities!

I've lived with older kids and did well with them. I'm also said to be friendly with other dogs at the dog park, so I enjoy having canine friends around. Most importantly, everyone describes me as a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved.

What I need isn't perfection.

I need someone willing to invest a little time in me.

Someone who understands that dogs sometimes come with unfinished chapters, and that helping them learn can be one of the most rewarding experiences there is.
