Katniss is a 2-year-old Pit Bull who came into rescue with her two puppies. She was an amazing mama, and now that her babies are ready for their own homes, it’s finally **Katniss’s turn to be spoiled.**

And this girl is PERFECT.

Katniss is quite small in stature, but weighs around **45 lbs** and is the perfect size for someone looking for a sturdy but compact cuddle buddy. She is **incredibly sweet, affectionate, cuddly, and absolutely loves being loved.** She wants nothing more than to be close to her people and soak up all the attention she can get.

Katniss is doing wonderfully with potty training. She will cry when she needs to go outside and will hold it for as long as she can, although accidents are possible if she isn't taken out in time.

On walks, she may pull when she sees people or children because she gets **SO excited to meet them and get some love.** She truly believes everyone she sees is her new best friend.

She also believes that anything left on the table is potentially her dinner, so her new family will need to keep food out of reach.

Katniss may cry a little when you leave because she loves her people, but she is not a constant barker or overly vocal dog.

She is just an **all-around amazing girl** who deserves a family that will love her as much as she loves them.

After spending her time taking care of her puppies, it's time for Katniss to finally be someone's **spoiled baby.**
