DESCRIPTION
Gumbo (Houdini) is an adorable little pocket pittie who was saved last minute from the Fulton County e-list and has been an absolute dream foster. Around 2.5 years old and weighing just 32 pounds, Gumbo is a happy, affectionate boy with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. He’s the perfect balance of playful energy and a champion cuddler. He is always up for a game of tug-of-war (his favorite!) and just as ready to curl up for a nap afterward.
Gumbo loves people of all ages and gets along great with other dogs, truly thriving on companionship and playtime. His love language is kisses (lots of them), and when he snuggles in, he makes the cutest little "Minecraft" noises. He’s smart and attentive, makes great eye contact, picks up routines quickly, and is well-mannered indoors—potty trained, crate trained, and happy to sit nicely. While his experience with cats is unknown, he’s naturally curious and excited about the world. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate pup who will make you laugh, melt into you at cuddle time, and greet you with pure happiness every day, Gumbo is your guy.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
