Bart is the ultimate best friend you didn’t know you needed. He’s crate trained, leash trained, and potty trained. He knows “sit” and takes direction very well — total people pleaser energy!

This sweet easy going boy is a true Velcro dog who will follow you around the house or curling up beside you on the couch while you unwind. Bart is gentle, affectionate, and fully embraces his role as a 65lbs lap dog.

Bart loves car rides (especially if they involve parks or pup cups 🍦), playing with stuffed toys 🧸 and bones 🦴, and relaxing naps. He’s still playful at 7 but on the low energy side. Bonus: he’s not a barker!

Bart would do well as an only dog or with calm, low-energy dogs (think senior vibes). He has been fostered w a 6-year-old female American pitty and a 2 yo bulldog and does great with both- slow intros are always key w/ any dog new to the pack! No cats or rabbits for this guy. Bart is also good w/ children, but he would do best with older children +12. Loud young children can be overwhelming for him.

Bart can get a little anxious when left alone in kennel for long periods of time (5+hrs) so he’d thrive in a WFH environment or not left alone for long periods of time. His forever home will need a secure fence and heavy duty crate setup just so he’s kept safe!
