CARMEN
Pit Bull Terrier
🇺🇸
Anderson, Indiana
September 7th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
* Cutie with the prettiest gray and brown coloring
* Arrived at our shelter as a stray and we're shocked no one came looking
* Friendly and happy to greet new people, full of tail wags
* Enjoys attention and pets from her human besties
* Needs some work with basic manners and training- doesn't really know anything
* Does enjoy her treats, so would make a great training candidate
* LOVES her walks, but does think you need to move faster (pulls hard)
* Shy meeting dogs at the shelter, but warmed up and became playful with time
* Doesn't seem to have a lot of experience interacting with dogs, would likely need a slow, monitored introduction
* Curious of cats until hissed and swatted at, then preferred to leave them alone
* Lives in a foster home with older children
* Requires a heavy duty crate in her new home- has some separation anxiety when left alone
Carmen's adoption fee is $150 and includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, heartworm testing, and a free wellness exam. If you're interested in meeting or adopting Carmen, please complete an application at: inapl.org/adoption-application.
