Meet Mindy – A Sweet Girl Ready for Her Second Chance!

Mindy is a beautiful 1-year-old Pit Bull mix who has already been through more than any young dog should have to endure. She came to us with mange and wounds from a dog fight, but she’s healing well and showing us just how sweet and loving she is!

Mindy’s favorite things include making friends, playing, and enjoying attention from people! She has a friendly personality and a playful spirit that will make her a wonderful companion for the right family.

Mindy seems to do better with male dogs than females, so a meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings would be important.

She also appears to be doing well with her housebreaking! She may have trouble holding it through a full 12-hour night, so she’ll appreciate a family that can give her a reasonable potty schedule and help her continue succeeding.

Mindy deserves a fresh start with a family who will give her the love, patience, and security she needs to thrive. She’s been through a rough time, but she hasn’t lost her sweet nature or playful personality. Now she just needs someone to show her what it means to be truly loved.

All our dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, treated with flea/ tick medication, and given a microchip before being adopted into their new homes. If dogs are 6 months or older, we test for heartworm and Lyme disease.
