She is a medium-sized, stocky girl with a soft cream coat, warm brown eyes, and the sweetest, most expressive face. Charlotte has that classic “velvet hippo” look, with some features that suggest she may be a pit bull / Shar Pei mix, especially in her soft wrinkles and gentle expression.

Charlotte truly prefers the slower side of life. She walks perfectly on leash, happy to stroll right by your side at a relaxed pace, taking in the world without any rush. She isn’t looking for adventure, she’s looking for comfort, companionship, and a person to call her own.

She is incredibly affectionate and thrives on closeness. Charlotte is the definition of a couch potato snuggle bear, always ready to lean in, soak up attention, and just be near you. If you’re looking for a dog who will happily curl up beside you and be your constant companion, she is your girl.

Charlotte did arrive with a pretty significant ear infection and is currently receiving treatment. She’s been nothing but cooperative and sweet through it all, and we expect her to feel much better soon.

She would do best in a home that can offer her a calm environment where she can settle in, relax, and enjoy her golden years. Charlotte doesn’t need much, just love, a comfy spot to nap, and someone who appreciates a slower, more peaceful pace of life.
