Hey there hoomans - I'm Freckles!
Sit down & grab a snack, I've got a story to tell
you!
I'm about 5 months old, I'm spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and the vet says I'm healthy and thriving.
Oh! And I'm about 15 pounds. I'll probably be 30 lbs full grown!
They tell me I'm an American Pitbull
Terrier / small breed Mix, but I'll tell you I'm 100% adorable!
I'm currently hangin' my leash in Sparta, WI, after making the big move from Texas. I arrived
on what was probably the coldest, windiest April day ever - talk about a shock - but I
handled it like a champ.
My adoption fee is $350 - in my opinion I'm priceless, but that's a small fee to pay to have
me in your life!
What I'm Looking for in My Perfect Match
Someone(s) who:
Loves dogs (obviously)
Has a big heart and a warm lap
Enjoys cuddle time
Appreciates zoomies - indoor AND outdoor
Ready for lots of adventures
Has toys, treats, and patience
Will tell me I'm a good girl!
My Best Qualities
(Cat Friendly) I currently have six cat roommates!
Kids? I'm not familiar, but I'm pretty sure I'd think they're fun!
Other doggos, they're cool.
Crate trained - I'm basically a tiny houseguest with manners & never mess in it.
I know what "outside, gotta go potty?" means - I deliver every time
Treats? I'm convinced they hold the secrets of the universe, and I will do anything to
earn one.
I walk on a leash like I'm accepting an award for "Best Puppy Ever."
I'm a car ride enthusiast - I have my Co-Pilot wings
I rarely bark unless the neighborhood dogs start gossiping
I do great with baby gates - totally happy staying in puppy-approved areas.
"Did you say cheese?" Say no more! I'm ready for my close-up - inner supermodel
activated! My foster mom has an amazing portfolio if you want to see it.
My foster mom says she could go on and on about why I'm such a great puppy -
she's got plenty of stories and will happily brag if you ask.
My Quirks (aka: My Adorable "Features")
These aren't "bad" - they're just part of my charm. Afterall, I'm just a puppy!
I'm well on my way to earning my "Potty Trained" certificate - I just need a little
more practice. I got this!
Small squeaky toys? I treat them like treasure hunts... and I must find the squeaker.
I'm more of a hard chew kinda gal.
My foster mom calls me her "Little Vacuum" - I find everything on the floor
Did you say kibble?! I get really excited about meals and eat a little fast, so smaller,
more frequent portions help me slow down. I hear they have cool bowls for that.
I prefer to eat away from my kitty roommates - I can get a little protective of my
bowl. I think it's because when I was younger, I wasn't always sure when my next
meal would come. But hoomans? No problem!
If your face near I really like to boop the snoot, but I'm learning that not all hoomans
enjoy that. Maybe you can teach me to high-five instead?
I'll put a pogo stick to shame, I love to jump - but only because I want to be closer
to you.
I'm a future Olympic athlete and can climb a short metal fence, so I'll need a secure
yard or supervised outdoor time.
So... Can I come home with you?
I'm a sweet, silly, cuddle-bug eager to please who's ready to go on adventures. I can't wait
to find my fur-ever family - maybe it's with you?!
